BEEBEE BASSEY – BIOGRAPHY
Beebee Bassey is a UK-based Nigerian singer-songwriter, guitarist, vocal coach, and performing arts mentor. Born into a Pentecostal family, her musical journey began at just 13 years old singing in church. From those early beginnings, her passion for music has grown into a career that blends gospel, soul, pop, and rock — creating powerful, emotional stories that move hearts and shift atmospheres.
Living with dyslexia and dyscalculia has not held her back. Instead, Beebee pursued her academic goals with determination, earning a degree in Mass Communication from CRUTECH and a Master's degree in International Business from Ulster University, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Her talent has earned her both national and international recognition. She was runner-up in the 2011 Voice of Cross River competition, a Top-5 finalist on Nigerian Idol in 2014, and in 2020 she represented Nigeria globally after winning the Nigerian Karaoke World Championships.
Beebee's artistry draws influence from Adele, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and Freddie Mercury, alongside worship leaders such as Jesus Culture, Hillsong, Sinach, and Juanita Bynum.
Her performances carry both grace and grit, reflecting these diverse inspirations. Her growing discography highlights her vocal depth and gift for storytelling, with notable releases including Incredible God (2020), Toxic Places (2024), Letter from God (I Am God) (2024), and her 2025 singles Hold on to Hope, Little Miracle, and Sisters by Soul (featuring Kella Kayy). Her most recent release is Stayed Too Long In The Storm (2026).
Beyond her career as a performer, Beebee is a dedicated vocal coach. She helps aspiring singers of all levels build confidence, control, and character through music. Her coaching sessions are affordable, practical, and empowering — tailored to help every voice rise.
